Cultivating Cacao at Scale
Building a sustainable estate for the future of Indonesian cacao.
We cultivate cacao across 5 hectares in Kolaka Timur, producing 1 ton per hectare today — toward 20 then 100 hectares with a target yield of 2–3 tons per hectare.

ABOUT / WHY WE ARE BUILDING
Toward a leading force in cacao agribusiness.
Kakao Farms is a growing agribusiness entity focused on the cacao cultivation industry, with operations based in Kolaka Timur, Southeast Sulawesi. Driven by the ambition to become a leading company in the cacao agribusiness sector, we target the acquisition and management of 100 hectares of land for the initial development phase.
Using existing operational land blocks as a standardized baseline, we combine precision farming, measurable operational management, and post-harvest innovation to break through traditional productivity limits and produce high-value commodities at scale.
Currently, Kakao Farms manages 5 hectares of land as a crucial pilot project. This pilot plot serves as a center for standardization and innovation — to find the best operational formula before replicating it at scale, as a hub for research, operational innovation, and quality standardization ahead of massive expansion.
By perfecting precision cultivation and post-harvest techniques on this pilot plot, Kakao Farms targets the opening and management of up to 100 hectares in the initial expansion phase — to meet high market demand for premium cacao beans.

02 / BUSINESS SCALE
From small scale, to mid-large scale.
A transformation blueprint — from a pilot plot into an agribusiness entity with strong bargaining power in the cacao industry.
A · Actual Condition — Small Scale
Operations currently run on a 5-hectare pilot plot. This phase is not oriented toward mass production volume, but serves as a field laboratory to solve the productivity bottleneck held at 1–1.5 tons/hectare and to formulate premium fermentation.
The small scale is maintained temporarily to contain inefficiency risk before the operational model is duplicated at a wider scale.
B · Expansion Projection — Mid-Large Scale
Once success parameters are achieved on the pilot plot — a target yield of 2–3 tons/hectare and uniform quality — operations will scale up toward managing 100 hectares of land.
At this phase, production capacity is projected to surge to 200–300 tons per year, positioning the company as a mid-large-scale agribusiness entity with strong bargaining power in the cacao industry.
